People's Choice Award for Open Cut 2

Recently our editing department took part in the “Open Cut 2” contest held by Red One, the makers of the revolutionary Red One digital cinema camera. The contest required all entrants to edit a thirty second commercial spot for Alpine Meadows Ski Resort using the same footage. Participants and the public alike were encouraged to view and rate entries using the popular Vuze platform, with the highest ranking entry being crowned "People's Choice". Bronze Telly Award

Project: Neighbor Days: A Tribute to Fred Rogers
Recipient: Mogul Mind and Mr. John Yost - CEO/President
This segment was created for Pittsburgh’s 250th Anniversary Celebration and Won’t You Be My Neighbor Days from March 15th-20th. The project combined several pieces of footage from Mr. Rogers television show, a recent Mr. McFeely interview filmed at the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum, and some very clever animation. The goal: to encourage the community to participate in festivities by wearing a sweater in honor of Fred Rogers’ 80th birthday. The video may be seen here.
