Pennsylvania’s Film Tax Credit is renewed through 2012. The program offers a 25% tax credit to productions that qualify. Pennsylvania also offers a unique topography. You can go from the city, to the suburbs, to mountains, and to rivers & lakes in within minutes.
Pittsburgh offers a versatile back drop for film and television production. The changing seasons, the three major rivers, bridges, rolling hills, stadiums, casino, cityscape, and many other locations make it an accommodating city for almost any project. Pittsburgh also offers experienced crews in all facets of production, and is home to one of the largest studios in North America.
Mogul Mind Studios is a 330,000 square foot, riverfront facility located within walking distance from downtown Pittsburgh in the historic Strip District. This makes for a wonderful backdrop for on-location shoots adjacent to our facility. The studio area consists of 6 Studio Spaces ranging from 7,500 square feet to over 38,000 square feet with heights of up to 55 feet. There is plenty of on-site parking, trailer space, and studio access doors. Office space is also available along with “ready-to-build-in” areas for hair and makeup rooms, wardrobe, wood shops, metal shops, paint shops, etc.
